Bannatyne Lodge is a wonderful detached cottage situated on the edge of the village of Newtyle, 12 miles from the town of Kirriemuir. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of a double and a twin, together with a bathroom and a ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area, a dining room with an electric fire and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with a patio and furniture. Please note : This property only accepts Friday check ins, unless discussed prior. Bannatyne Lodge is a superb base for exploring all that there is to see within this part of Scotland.
The village of Newtyle is situated equal distance between the town of Kirriemuir and the city of Dundee. Newtyle has a shop, Post Office, a pub, church and an award-winning butcher. Nearby Kirriemuir is a lovely red sandstone town in the valley of Strathmore, regarded as the gateway to the Angus Glens, which offer some of Scotland's most unspoiled landscape.
