The cottage can sleep four people in one king-size double and one twin room as well as a family shower room. The rest of the cottage is made up of an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove, and a study. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden to the front with furniture. Humbleton Cottage is the perfect cottage for a peaceful countryside break. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome at an additional charge of £50.00.
On the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Haydon Bridge is situated between Hexham and Haltwhistle and is a short drive away from the remains of the Roman Forts on Hadrians Wall, a World Heritage Site. There are many walking trails available- the most popular at Allen Banks- picturesque village of Haydon Bridge dates back to the 14th Century and is situated on both banks of the South Tyne river with an ancient pedestrian bridge over. Amenities in the village include a railway station, a variety of shops, pubs, a local tourist information centre, churches and riverside walks. Haydon Bridge is a great base for exploring Northumbria!
