The little Pennine town of Hebden Bridge sits within the Calderdale area and provides home to the Rochdale Canal and a Victorian railway station. The National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way close by, this location is also the first 'Walkers are Welcome' town in the UK, a scheme supported by the Ramblers’ Association. Alternatively, scenic drives and cycling, as featured on 2nd stage of the 2014 Tour de France, 2015 Tour de Yorkshire and 2018 Tour de Yorkshire, can be enjoyed from your doorstep. The area is also a must for steam railway enthusiasts who will enjoy the Worth Valley Railway, whilst the highly acclaimed Eureka Museum is in Halifax, noted for its unique Piece Hall and its Victorian architecture.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
