27 Borthyn is a tastefully restored cottage in Ruthin in North Wales. The cottage can sleep 3 people in 2 bedrooms. The rest of the cottage is made up of a shower room, lounge with woodburner, and kitchen/dining area. To the outside of the cottage is a garden/patio area. Off road parking at the rear of the property for up to 3 cars. Conveniently located for those wanting to explore Ruthin and North Wales, this cottage is perfect for couples and small families.

The hilltop town of Ruthin lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The town is picturesque with attractive half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square. There are many interesting shops and buildings, whilst the Nant Clwyd House (the oldest timber frame in Wales), Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, are also worth a visit. Beautiful countryside is on Ruthin’s doorstep with Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest close by. Further afield, but still within easy touring distance, are the coast, Snowdonia National Park and historic Chester.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
