The Aspens is a detached property resting on the outskirts of Middleton-In-Teesdale. It houses two bedrooms, comprising of a super-king-size with freestanding bath and en-suite shower, basin and WC and a twin bedroom (zip/link beds, can be made into a super-king-size bed on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Completing the interior is a kitchen/diner, a utility and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is ample off-road parking, a patio area with furniture and hot tub and a lawn area. The Aspens is a superb base for exploring the delights of this part of the Pennines.
Middleton-in-Teesdale is a town resting on the banks of the River Tees in the pretty North Pennines AONB, 10 miles away from Barnard Castle. Within the town you will find a range of shops, pubs and places and is surrounded by a magnitude of walking opportunities upon the moorland as well as pretty wooded valleys. Attractions within the area include the waterfall of High Force, Gibson's Cave and Cauldron Snout.
Open heather moors and peatlands together with beautiful dales and hay meadows sweep across this northernmost section of the Pennine hill range. Discover a range of attractions and a rich heritage.
