Mill House Barn is a dear little detached cottage converted from a barn in the tiny hamlet of Taw Green near the Devon village of South Tawton. The cottage sleeps two people in a double bedroom with a bathroom. On the same level is an open plan living space with seating area with wood burning stove, dining area and kitchen. Outside is a shared lawn garden beside the River Taw with table and chairs and a bench. Just over a mile from the village, Mill House Barn is a lovely retreat for a couple to enjoy a holiday in Devon.
The small village of Sticklepath lies along an old ridgeway path within the northern boundary of the Dartmoor National Park, and is home to a handful of shops, two traditional pubs serving good food and the fascinating Museum of Rural Industry
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
