Outside is an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio furniture as well as off-road parking for 1 car. Maple Cottage provides a splendid base to return to in a handsome region of south-west England.

The market town of Sturminster Newton is set on the banks of the River Stour, reached via a graceful, six-arch, 15th century bridge. The area inspired the beautiful works of Thomas Hardy.
