Little Ivy is a Grade II listed thatched cottage situated in the village of West Lulworth in Dorset moments from Unesco site Lulworth Cove. The cottage can sleep 3 people in 1 double and 1 single bedroom as well has a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen/diner/sitting room with electric fire. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for 1 car and a garden with furniture. Little Ivy will suit couples who will enjoy short walk to the Lulworth cove and pub. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome at an additional charge of £21/pet.
West Lulworth boasts the most dramatic geological features on the Jurassic coast line and arguably the most photographed locations in the UK is Durdle Door. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door sit side by side at the heart of this area and really are a must visit. Lulworth Cove has many little café’s and beach side shacks serving local seafood, ice cream and other delights, as well as several restaurants and pubs from which to choose. There is an Lulworth estate information centre which offers an insight into how the cove and Durdle door were formed and Jurassic history of the region. If you tire of Cove and cliff top walks then Lulworth Castle is a short drive away and offers another glimpse at some more recent history, along with Tyneham Village, and Corfe Castle. This is a really special area and the village retains a lot of it’s thatched cottages and has a real air of a rural retreat.
