The beach is often less busy than the main sandy Weymouth beach and so often popular with those who want a slightly quieter beach day. There are many Georgian houses which front along the esplanade with extensive sea views and walking the esplanade day dreaming about the beautiful houses is a common past time. It’s a short 10-15-minute stroll from Greenhill into Weymouth main town centre, where you can find winding lanes with local independent shops for browsing as well as high street favourites. Greenhill is the ideal location for people want to be close to the centre without being in it.
