Pitlochry is a Victorian burgh in the area of Perth and Kinros and has been a popular tourist destination since the visit of Queen Victoria back in 1842. With the surrounding area you will find the Ben Vrackie and Schiehallion mountains, as well as the River Tummel where you can hire boats. Within the village you will also find a golf course and the Tay Forest Park, and the Cairngorms National Park is also close by.
