It has four bedrooms: one ground floor super king-size (zip/link), one ground floor twin, one first floor super king-size (zip/link) and one first floor double, served by a family shower room and ground floor bathroom. Downstairs has an open-plan fitted kitchen and dining area, as well as a sitting room. Outside has a lawned garden and patio area with furniture. Off-road parking is available for four cars. Runswick offers a superb base for families and friends looking to explore the North York Moors National Park. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.
Pickering is an ancient market town and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. Boasting a variety of historical landmarks, including the famous Pickering Parish Church, featuring famous medieval paintings, Pickering Castle and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The town offers a selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets for fine food and local produce. The town dates back to around 270 BC, and was founded by King Peredurus, though its architecture dates much later to the medieval era.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
