The living areas in this single-storey consist of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, two dishwashers and dining seating for fourteen guests, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, a sitting room with TV and a snug with TV. The bedrooms consist of three super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request), three king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request) and a bunk room, all with en-suite shower rooms. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and furniture, as well as off-road parking for six cars. Within 2 miles you will find a shop and within 1.3 miles, a pub and please note that one well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking and no vaping. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Lower Marsh Barns is a lovely base for your next Cornish escape.

Discover the endearing village of Whimple amidst the countryside setting of East Devon, resting east of the bustling city of Exeter. Within the village, you will be delighted to find The Thirsty Farmer pub/restaurant, a Post Office, a shop for the essentials and the Whimple Heritage Centre, so that you can brush up on the local history. Ottery St Mary is less than five miles away, home to the parish church of St. Mary, which is a scaled-down version of Exeter Cathedral and is a breath-taking sight. The town also plays host to a larger number of amenities, as well as the River Otter for enjoying gentle strolls. If you are visiting in June, be sure to attend the unusual event of Pixie Day and the Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels, where men shouldering flaming tar barrels run through packed crowds! The small city of Exeter is also well-worth a visit, home to an impressive Cathedral, beautiful Quayside and Roman wall. Attractions here include the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and the Crealy Great Adventure Park, in addition to its great retail therapy opportunities.
