Sitting in the grounds of a family farm in Easter Ross in the beautiful Scottish highlands, these two luxury properties provide the perfect backdrop for a large group holiday spent exploring the area. Each of the cottages is self-contained, with its own living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms, linked by a conjoining door so you can easily pop between them. There’s a large, enclosed garden, and despite its rural location, there are shops and a pub within 2 miles. The houses have been designed with guests’ comfort in mind and have beautiful modern interiors and furniture throughout; they also take full advantage of the stunning setting and there are stunning views from nearly every room. Each property has a wood burner, modern bathrooms, Smart TVs, and patios with BBQs and seating. There are seven bedrooms and six bathrooms in all. The larger of the two cottages can sleep ten guests in five bedrooms and has five bathrooms. The smaller property can accommodate a further four people in two bedrooms and it has a shower room. The smaller cottage is all on one level. Go into the larger of the two and you’ll find an entrance hall which leads to the stunning kitchen, separated from the lounge by a pillar which houses the wood burner. There’s plenty of space to rustle up dinner on the Range cooker, eat together at the dining table and relax on the sofas in front of the wood burner. There’s also a handy utility room, a separate WC, and a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs are four more bedrooms, three of which can be set up as super-king-size or twins, and a twin room. There are also a further four bathrooms: three en-suite shower rooms and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. The smaller cottage is no less charming with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a gorgeous, vaulted ceiling and patio doors outside. There are comfy sofas to relax on in front of the wood burner and a Smart TV. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor, and both can be set up as super-king-size or twin rooms. There’s also a modern shower room for guests to use. Close the gate and the garden is enclosed, safe for children and furry friends. It has a large lawn area where dogs and children can run around and there are two patios where you can sit with a glass of something chilled or have a BBQ and dine al fresco. Being south-facing, the garden is a real suntrap.
