For further versatility, two double sofa beds are available at an extra charge. Completing the convenience for all, the bathrooms in both properties have walk-in showers and roll-top baths; there’s a separate WC in the barn and a self-contained laundry room too. Outside, a pretty terrace between the two buildings is the setting for al fresco food and drinks. End your evening with a stargazing session in the hot tub. Some of the best walking in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons is right outside your door, and it’s just a 5-mile drive through the national park to Hay-on-Wye, famous for its bookshops.
